A neighborhood joint, not a chain.
For 30 years we have held down the same stretch of Bardstown Road, slinging hand tossed New York style pies in a room with original concrete floors, wood paneling, and a wall of old signs and posters. Nothing here is staged. It grew this way.
The pizza is thin, the crust is charred at the edges and built to hold a loaded slice, and the beer is cold. People call us the best little pizza joint this side of Bonnycastle, and we have spent since 1996 trying to keep it that way.
Divey, yes. Beloved, also yes. Pull up a seat by the window, get the game on, and watch the Highlands go by.
